After Workout Binge

Always add protein to the first bite you take after a good workout. And the best time to take that bite is within 20 minutes of that workout.   Your muscle recovery will be much faster. 

Wondering what would be a quick and easy protein/carb food to eat.....try some cereal and nonfat milk.  The Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition 2009 states"...readily available foods such as cereal and nonfat milk can provide post-exercise supplementation and be used in lieu of a commercially-available sports drink after moderate exercise.  It provides easily digestible and quality protein in the milk.
