GOOOOOOOOOD MORNING TEAM OSB!!!!!!
(Or evening if this doesn't post like I want it to! lol)
My name is Aimee and I am one of the new contributors to this blog! I cannot tell you how excited I am to be part of this amazing blog. This blog has not only given me a place to vent my frustrations and share my excitements, but it has also introduced me to several new friends.
I thought I'd share a little bit about myself, since this is my first post on here.
I have always been on the chubby side. I was a thick baby and I never lost my "baby fat". When I hit puberty, I pretty much just ballooned. I graduated high school at least at 200 lbs. In the years proceeding high school, I just gained and gained. When I moved out on my own and started making my own meals, I easily got up to 275 lbs.
And then I met my now husband. And we all know what happens when you start dating "the one". We got married in Aug of 2007 and this is how I looked:
I weighed 350 lbs on my wedding day. The day that is supposed to be the happiest of my life, and I can barely stand to look at my pictures.
Last year, my husband and I started working with a nutrition and exercise consultant and we both lost about 50 lbs!! Then the economy struck. My husband got laid off his job and we couldn't afford to spend so much money on the healthy food anymore.
Now we're back on track and I am struggling to lose my weight again. (It's no fun the 2nd time around!)
I am hoping that you guys will join me in using this blog as an outlet to share your exciting moments, voice your frustrations, and help lift each other up!
