Daily Recommendations

I really enjoyed the recent post about SUGAR and would love to write more about that today especially how it affects your oral health.  Instead, I will give to you the advice I try to give each of my patients.  (The Academy of General Dentist recommends these suggestions)

1.  Drink plenty of WATER.
2. Brush and floss after every meal.
3. Chew sugarless gum with xylitol or suck on sugarless mints.

A common question that I am asked is "what is plenty of water?"   You know you are drinking enough water if your pee is pale yellow to clear.  That's it, pretty simple!

awesome! I am trying to get as addicted to water as possible! Hey, speaking of sugar ... is it bad to have a crystal light (or two or three) a day? I know it's sugar free ... but yeah.
